Over the past few years, support for what I do in and around the city has really snowballed into something special. I appreciate everyone’s support so much and figured I’d create a new spot for y’all to check me out! So welcome to my new home – DJSober.com – which I’ll be frequently updating with my upcoming events, hand-illustrated flyers, music mixes, general blog posts and more.
The posts on this blog are a combination of new content and “archived” material from my previous blog – DecadeClothing.com. In the coming weeks, I will launch the new Decade site which will exclusively feature my Decade brand apparel, like this Summer Sailboat Tank.
In addition to launching Decade, I’m excited about a lot of other stuff happening throughout the next few weeks. For this year’s Dallas Observer Music Awards, I was nominated in the Best DJ category. My group, A.Dd+, was nominated in two categories – Best Album and Best Rap Act, and my buddy, and A.Dd+’s producer, Picnic was nominated in the Best Producer category. Voting starts August 31 on the Observer site, so stay tuned. Finally, I’ll be launching my “Sober _______ it.” campaign and invite you to participate. Last but not least, I want to personally invite you to keep partying with me every Thursday for Big Bang at Beauty Bar in Dallas, and every last Saturday of the month for Top Notch at Boondocks in Houston. Check out the events calendar to find out where you can catch me over the next few months.
