In Spring of 2014, Sudie, Ro and I spent a month living in Brooklyn. I played 1992 w Vashtie & Oscar at Webster Hall (RIP), Booty Fade played the original EVR (RIP), Sudie released her 1st single ever “Heartattack,” and wrote and recorded new music (in an actual studio… but also in the bathtub of our Airbnb 😂). We saw a secret Mac Demarco show at Baby’s All Right, a Danny Brown in-store at Rough Trade. We ate a lot of pizza and Jamaican food, drank a lot of Ting, met a lot of cool peeps, hung w friends, hit the flea market and had some hilarious drunken (them, not me lol) cab rides from the city back to BK. Along the way, we snapped a few Polaroids of our shenanigans and put the best ones in this zine. Much thx to David for the inspiration to document these moments in time.
