Bet y’all didn’t know Boston had beaches. I didn’t go near the water. Forgot to pack my wet suit.
Bodega is conceptually the dopest store. The store front actually looks like and serves as an actual bodega. The thing that sets it apart is the store hidden behind the secret, sliding soda machine door. Scooby Doo type ish!

Feels good to be back in the great state of Texas. After a nice little getaway, it’s back in the saddle. This week’s Big Bang will be extra live. My friend Rockwell from H-town and I will be joining forces. If you saw him at the Red Bull 3style events, then you already know that dude is cold as ice. So there you have it, the two best cities in TX team up for a Thursday that will push your wig back.

Congrats to Sober for his Best DJ nomination for this year’s Dallas Observer Music Awards (DOMA)!

I’m leaving today for a much needed, six-day getaway to Boston and New York. I’ll be uploading flicks of my journey along the way, so be sure to check back in a couple of days. Also, be sure to check out the homie A1 holding down Big Bang for me tonight. Texas, see y’all in a week!
The other night I was scrolling through my timeline on Facebook and ran across a link for this Oddisee record on my man from Wax Poetics’ page. I clicked it and I was instantly pleased. Made a few clicks, purchased the album and its been on rotation in the house and whip ever since. Going to load it up on the ipod for my trip as well. If you get a chance peep dude out. He’s nice.
Tonight me and the Homie Tyrone Smiley return to Zubar for the third installment of our new monthly Throwed Off! We have our main man Jay Clipp handling the back room. Join us for an extra live night filled with cheap drinks and Zaytoven beats.
