Last night my good friend Hector stopped by the crib with a crispy 1200 and a Sound Warehouse crate full of gems. All of these items belonged to his uncle that used to Dj. We had a good time bumping some 90’s techno and putting records back in their proper sleeves. A few trades were made and I scored a couple of 12″ you will be hearing in my sets from here on out. Keep an eye out for young Hecteezy on the wheels of steel. He def. has some heavy tunes to work with now.

Over the past few years, support for what I do in and around the city has really snowballed into something special. The posts on this blog are a combination of new content and “archived” material from my previous blog – DecadeClothing.com. In the coming weeks, I will launch the new Decade site which will exclusively feature my Decade brand apparel, like this Summer Sailboat Tank.
In addition to launching Decade, I’m excited about a lot of other stuff happening throughout the next few weeks. For this year’s Dallas Observer Music Awards, I was nominated in the Best DJ category. My group, A.Dd+, was nominated in two categories – Best Album and Best Rap Act, and my buddy, and A.Dd+’s producer, Picnic was nominated in the Best Producer category. Voting starts August 31 on the Observer site, so stay tuned. Finally, I’ll be launching my “Sober _______ it.” campaign and invite you to participate.
